One subject I keep going back to is poppies. They were one of the first things I painted, and they continue to inspire me. Bright red, flowy blooms, a wildflower among so much green. 

This piece draws you in, first with the flowers, then into the layered background. The swirling sky grows yellow as the sun makes its way over the horizon. Unexpected pops of pink and textured layers give this piece a ton of interest.

8”x10”x1½” acrylic paint and chalk pastel on gallery wrapped, heavy duty canvas. Finished with protective varnish. Edges are painted, and the back is outfitted with a sawtooth hanger, making your painting ready to hang.

Your art will be packaged carefully and ship the week of May 18th.
