"Flamingo Red"

The flamboyant tree grows throughout the Caribbean, Florida, and southern Texas. A lover of the tropics, she's a show stopper who surely lives a happy life. Distinct brush strokes and layered paint give this piece heavy texture and a great variety of color. I could not begin to count the greens on here, not to mention the glimpses of purple, gold, and peach. 

I painted this right around the time Bad Bunny performed at the Super Bowl. She is a joyful nod to his native Puerto Rico.

9"x12" acrylic paint and chalk pastel on high quality, 140 lb, watercolor paper. Treated with a fixative so that pastel will not smear.

Matted painting includes a white mat that finishes this work at 12"x16". This is a standard-ish frame size so that you can easily frame this piece upon receipt. PRICES INCLUDE DOMESTIC SHIPPING. International shipping will be calculated upon request. Your piece will ship within two business days.

Can you order your painting without a mat? Absolutely! Maybe you want a different color or mat size. However, it IS important to mat your painting before it hits the frame glass. The mat gives your painting a little breathing room; without it, the paint will eventually stick to the glass.
