"Hitting the High Notes"

Flight. My most recent collection depicting the freedom of moving forward, flying upward. Each piece is a collision of hope, growth, wings, flight.

Of all six pieces in this collection, "Hitting the High Notes" takes the cake on energy. Hot pink paint, drip marks, glitter(!!), and some collage pieces that beg for attention. This was the last piece I completed, and it has a sort of joy to it that I want to live in. The crescendo of this collection. 

11”x14”x1½” mixed media collage, acrylic paint, glitter, and linework on gallery wrapped, heavy duty canvas. Finished with protective varnish. Edges are painted, and the back is outfitted with a sawtooth hanger, making this piece ready to hang.
