"House Special"

The lake seeps into the background on this one, just as so many small shorelines do in Minnesota. The background is distinguished by scratched in grassy marks, that give this piece subtle depth. I love the deepening shades of green and the smooth, elegant nature of this loon.

Painting is just shy of 5"x7". White mat takes it up to an even 5"x7"- easy to pop in a frame. Acrylic paint and a little chalk pastel on high quality, 140 lb. watercolor paper. Treated with a fixative to secure the chalk in place.
