"I Changed My Mind About Pink"

I used to dislike pink. And then I picked up a paintbrush and discovered that it is joyful, versatile, and plays well with all (ALL) the colors. I am spending my days painting summertime. And this gorgeous flamingo set against water and lush greenery is as joyfully summer as it gets. Including bits of old books, musical pieces, and paint skins adds interest and texture.

I am filled with delight when I look at this magnificent bird and would love to send her to a wall that needs such joy!

11"x15" mixed media collage, acrylic paint, and chalk pastel on high quality, 140 lb, watercolor paper. Treated with a fixative to hold chalk in place and then varnished to protect collage pieces. Over time, collage materials can fade. Varnish will help to prevent this, and I also recommend hanging away from direct sunlight.

Painting only, you will want to mat and frame this piece. Your painting will be packaged carefully and ship within a week.
