Have you heard it said that all quilts ought to include a little yellow? I read it somewhere once, and it stuck with me. A bit of yellow brings a brightness and balance that sets off the rest of the quilt. It also happens to be my favorite color and a fantastic barn color!

This is wintery Block #6 in the Frostbite Farm Mystery Stitch-Along from Woolie Friends.

Available kit includes soft black background fabric, wool, and buttons. Select from various kit options above if you'd like to include the printed pattern or high quality Valdani Thread Kit.

I used the following Valdani threads, all in size 12. O775 Turkey Red, O118 Shades of Gray, M81 Backyard Honeycomb, 5 Light Ecru, P12 Brown, and O501 Ebony Almond.

Buttons are included in this kit, and you can order an extra pack here if you'd like. I used 1/4" Round Black and Carrots on this quilt block.
